I desire to build an Orphanage Center in Cambodia in the next five years!
How to raise the money:
- Dinner reception
- Use the internet-Gofundme.com/charity/
- Proceed from the book sales, Salt Seeker
- Grants
- Individual donation
- Golf outing
The money that I have raised has been used to buy the following things for the orphans in Cambodia:
- Toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, soap to wash clothes, medicines, school uniforms, rice, bicycles, sneakers, sandals, clothes, blankets, mosquito nets, school supplies, pots, pans, utensils, dining room tables, chairs, desks, etc.
Plans for the future:
- Get their teeth cleaned
- Pay for Internet access and service
- Send the Cambodian orphans to technical schools
- Send them to learn English/Chinese
- Get mattresses
- Send the high school graduates to technical schools
Build Orphanage Center
- Buy a hector of land in Cambodia, $50,000, and then, I will build a Center and landscape, $50,000, to raise 12 to 15 orphans, a 5-year plan (2022-2027).
- Give children small spending money; $20 a month
- Pay someone to take care of the children, $200.00 x 3 = $600 a month (3 adult care-takers)
- Pay for food, water, electricity, bathroom products, $200 - $300 a month
- Airplane tickets, food, hotel and local transportation, $2,000.00
*Estimated cost to raise one child: $40 a month
